Loggers Lake Fun!

Well we have had lovely Sunday afternoon hikes each week around Crater Rim trail, and Loggers Lake while the family were away. It was lovely to be greeted by smiling (yes Sophie really grins) and excited dogs each week.We had friends and their dogs as company sometimes, and sometimes it was just the 3 of us raging around the forests loving the views, sniffing the smells and splashing in puddles! The drive home was fun with muddy smelly dogs snoozing in the truck, and Tahoe trying his best to crawl into my lap, bless him, he is so loving. Hiking Fun!

We had a great hike with the other Whistler mutts today...the sun was shining and we all got waaaay too hot raging around the trails...had to stop on a rock outcropping to enjoy the view and catch our breath!

Movies and Evening Walks...

After food Tahoe was way more relaxed (cupboard love is an amazing thing!) and he hung out with Sophie and I while we watched 'Flicka'...a bit of a chick flick based on the classic by Mary O'Hara - and Sophie proved to be a great for a cuddle during the weepy parts! We then went for an evening run before settling back on the couch for more movie fun (yay Harry Potter!)

The Creatures Welcome The Babysitter!

Well, an uneasy welcome from Tahoe was made better by a tail thumping welcome from Sophie!











I ventured upstairs to find two equally surprised kitties, but they soon relaxed - paddy paws all round! I just laughed out loud when Skitty-cat gawked at me in this first shot!
